Divided into two parts, this text is
suitable for both undergraduate and graduate study. Part 1 covers the basic concepts of equilibrium thermodynamics and Part 2 is the development of these basic concepts. The initial fundamentals follow the single axiom approach, in which the previously disparate "laws" of thermodynamics stem logically from a single basic physical law, the Law of Stable Equilibrium. The readily understandable presentation of this relatively new approach, its comprehensive treatment of the topic of
